Sunnyside Spirit Wear 2017 - 2018

We are proud to introduce an amazing new line of Spirit Wear to our Sunnyside Community! Please visit our Spirit Wear page for more information and for a copy of the order form. Don't miss out! The deadline is Friday, January 26.
To order online, simply go to https://squareup.com/store/sunnyside-spiritwear and click on the items.

Kiss & Drop is a safe and effective solution to our parking issues, and we need volunteers to keep it running smoothly. If you can spare 30 minutes in the morning, as little as once a week, please consider adding your name to the Online Volunteer Signup Sheet for January, February, and March.

The lower parking lot is reserved for Staff parking. Please be considerate of our teachers, and drop off or park only in the upper parking lot.

Hot Lunch
Online ordering for January, February, and March, 2018 is now open. We are happy to debut some exciting new vendors: Cobs Bread, The Chopped Leaf, and Taco Del Mar.  Fresh Slice has also added a 2-pizza slice option for better value.  Order all 3 months or a few weeks at a time.
To sign up to be one of our parent volunteers, please visit the  HOT LUNCH  home page.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Start your weekend with Friday night skiing and snowboarding lessons on Mount Seymour, during February and March.  It will be open to all students in grades 4 through 7.
The SKI / SNOWBOARD NOTICE was sent home in December. It can be printed and sent in with your payment.

Sunnyside Recycles!
We now have a Sunnyside beverage recycling program. Bring in your refundable beverage containers any day, any time, and deposit them into the yellow bins on the school grounds. We also have an account at Return-It Express.
The Sunnyside Bottle Drive was held on Sunday, January 7. We returned 3456 containers and raised $272.90. A big thank you to the volunteers, to everyone who came with trunks full of bottles, and to Nature's Fare for providing the delicious hot chocolate!

Warm Winter Clothing Drive. To our wonderful community of parents: A warmhearted thank you from the staff, students, and parents of Royal Heights Elementary for the generous donation of winter clothing. They sent over a beautiful handmade thank you card, filled with kind messages, which is posted in our PAC room.

Sunnyside for Sources Pancake Breakfast Friday, December 22
Thank you all for coming to our Annual Pancake Breakfast. We had lots of fun and raised much needed funds for a great cause, Sources Food Bank in Surrey.
This wonderful event was sponsored by Save-On Foods. The coffee was graciously donated by Starbucks. And the festive photo backdrops and fun props were donated by The Chopped Leaf.
