Pink Shirt Day Presentation by Nancy Smith - Wednesday, February 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, in the school library.
Nancy Smith will discuss bullying, with a significant portion devoted to cyberbullying. She will center this discussion on facts pertaining to youth internet usage and strategies parents can employ to keep their children safe while online. Please attend this important evening to learn more about where your children are spending time, who they are connecting with, how to stay engaged with youth in a digital world, and how to manage social interactions.

Pink Shirt Day  Wednesday, February 28, 2018

We encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that we do not tolerate bullying at school, on the playground, or on social media.

We will be selling official Pink Shirt Day mood bracelets for $2 each to raise awareness for the cause.

Grade 7 Graduation

Visit our Class of 2018 page for more information regarding the upcoming grade 7 camping trip, farewell dinner/dance and yearbook. There are still plenty of volunteer opportunities to allow parents to offset some of the costs associated with all the events.

Sunnyside Spirit Wear 2017 - 2018

We are proud to introduce a fun new line of Spirit Wear to our Sunnyside Community! Please visit our Spirit Wear page for more information and for a copy of the order form.

Hot Lunch
Online ordering for February and March, 2018 is still open. We are happy to debut 3 new vendors: Cobs Bread, The Chopped Leaf, and Taco Del Mar.  Fresh Slice has also added a 2-pizza slice option for better value.  Order both months at once, or a few weeks at a time.
To sign up to be one of our parent volunteers, please visit the  HOT LUNCH  home page.

Kiss & Drop is a safe and effective solution to our parking issues, and we need volunteers to keep it running smoothly. If you can spare 30 minutes in the morning, as little as once a week, please consider adding your name to the Online Volunteer Signup Sheet for January, February, and March.

The lower parking lot is reserved for Staff parking. Please be considerate of our teachers, and drop off or park only in the upper parking lot.

Sunnyside Recycles!
We now have a Sunnyside beverage recycling program. Bring in your refundable beverage containers any day, any time, and deposit them into the yellow bins on the school grounds. We also have an account at Return-It Express.

The Sunnyside Bottle Drive was held on Sunday, January 7 and we raised $477.50! A big thank you to the volunteers who helped bag all the bottles, to everyone who came with trunks filled with bottles, and to Nature's Fare for providing the delicious hot chocolate! We appreciate your support.
